Setting an intention is important. Take time to reflect on what you’re looking to get out of the session. You may want to journal or meditate for clarity. What do you want to change? What do you want to let go? What do you want to bring in? If you have trouble, I am happy to help.

Journeying is similar to meditating. There is a shift in consciousness into a theta brain-wave mode. I listen to drumming to bring me into that state. Shamanic practitioners will journey to three different non-ordinary worlds: lower, middle, and upper. In preparation for your session, I typically journey to the lower world to see if there is any information / knowledge there for me that will be helpful during your session. I will also journey during the session for any clarification of information.
